Edlunds in Marburg

We used the delivery service in the lock-down month of November. CONCLUSION: - Food came on time - the packaging was environmentally friendly - the portions are super generous - everything was super fresh (even the house fries were crispy) - and (as usual) very tasty! It was totally worth it. Thank you so much!

Very nice restaurant. We were there for brunch. Optionally warm or cold. Service very friendly. Food and drinks came quickly. We were happy with everything.

Nice restaurant with Scandinavian dishes. The coffee is really strong. The space is small and cozy, the outside area is right in the middle of the historic Upper Town, where it is pleasant to sit. Service sometimes takes a little longer.

We ate very well again with nice service.

To recommend! The food was very tasty. Lobby the elk cappacho and waffles. In terms of price, absolutely reasonable for the quality you get. The best part of the evening was definitely the condition. Attentive, friendly and the right mix of smaltalk and funny chatting. We'll definitely be back!

Super friendly staff, we are there more often and very satisfied every time. Whether breakfast, waffles, ice cream or warm meals, everything tastes good :-) In addition, they are totally child-friendly and make every effort to make the little ones feel comfortable. Does the child ever get a little whimsy (like this afternoon :-)), an ice cream cone etc. will be brought immediately to cheer up the child. We can recommend Edlunds to everyone and we love being there.

Unfortunately we didn't even get to eat. The service was rude and ignorant. We got a dirty high chair for our baby. When I asked the waitress to give me a rag so that I could clean the high chair, I was told that it was clean and in a tone that was clean. Families with children shouldn't go here

Unfortunately I am disappointed. I had ordered three chicken skewers; Since it was quite dark in the evening, I did not immediately see how burned they were and started eating a skewer, which tasted rather heavily charred. In the picture I took you can see how black these small particles were. The corresponding dip was unfortunately missing. I told the waitress when paying that I neither want to eat these skewers nor pay for them. I was asked if I would like new skewers and she said: "Why didn't you say something straight away, then you would have got new ones". I would have liked to have done this, but during my stay there I did not see the waitress near the table. The service was relatively friendly, but they tried to explain to me that the darkness of the skewers was due to the dark marinade and the smoked oil. The five arugula lettuce leaves that were served with the skewers were withered, I throw something like that in the trash at home. Note on the above text: My friend had ordered prawn skewers, unfortunately the sauce was also missing and her rocket was withered too. We had each placed an order individually, but the food all came together on ONE plate, when we told the waitress she went in and then brought us two separate plates. Through all of this, my girlfriend and I's food was completely cold. Comment on your reaction: A huge sauce stain on your plate? You serious? There's a tiny droplet on the edge. and if you order three different "appetizers" with sauce, then ONE small mini bowl is simply not enough and two have been forgotten. I've tried the dark skewer unlike some others, but it was charred, as mentioned earlier. Furthermore, we ordered the appetizers separately ... And in times of Corona I don't want to eat from a common plate, which should be normal at the moment. I would have liked to speak to the waitress, but she didn't come again, except when we wanted to pay. And I didn't feel like walking in with a mask because of two extra particles, because I didn't want a replacement either, since it was just 10 p.m. and we would have had to sit in until the replacement came.

The food was excellent and the atmosphere very cozy. Something different. Always quite full, so reservations are advisable.

We always liked to go to eat but had to find out on Tuesday that the friendliness had decreased a lot, we were treated impossibly by the waiter and we got up again without ordering anything you probably don't need to keep regular customers. We will tell our friends

We went here for brunch- the food was delicious and inexpensive. The service was really good. The waitress (short brown hair) is gold !! Best waitress, from Marburg. Thank you very much for the great service!

I have eaten here with friends in the past and have always been very happy with both the food and the service. Yesterday, however, I wanted to redeem one of my two city money vouchers here to spend ice cream on my friends. The total price was 6 €. The counter seller, who seems to have just been hired, unfortunately could not help me and asked his supervisor directly. So far I was completely satisfied. However, when the lady came and cheerfully commanded the young gentlemen around in the command tone and also booked my BOTH city money vouchers (€ 20) directly and without asking and handed me the money in cash to be used to pay for the ice cream, I was ready hit your head. 1. The city money voucher may not be paid out in cash at all. 2. I was not asked whether this was OK for me - after all, it would also take away the opportunity to donate the money from the second voucher or to another business. I will come back to the store today and ask for an explanation for this. If there is no valid reason, the assessment remains. :(

We were here in Marburg for a couple of days and 3 or 4 times. Super nice owner and delicious ice cream and breakfast !! If we are in Marburg again, we will definitely come back!

A couple of days ago, my friend and I decided to have breakfast on a Saturday morning at this place and I'm glad that I did. Although, it was a busy day for the staff at that Saturday, but they managed to give us a good service, as well. There's a variety of choices for breakfast in the menu, namely different sorts of bread, waffle, cheese, Nutella, ham sausage, etc. The menu is to some extent more expensive as other similar places in this area. However, I would say considering the service, grade and the amount, it's worth it. I would definitely like to have this experience again, getting up early in a Saturday morning and going to a fancy restaurant with a special friend.

Nice Swedish restaurant in the heart of Marburg.Plates are well presented and pleasent to eat.Nice selection of desserts to share at the end of the dinner.Only negative point Is that they don't take non-german credit cards and they only tell you at the end of the meal.

That One star is for the really nice people that work there. The service was great. But, we ( 4 people) came in at night craving some dessert after dinner and we ordered 2 Waffles and 2 cups of ice cream in total. The waffles were terrible!!! I’ve never tried a waffle that bad before. It has absolutely no taste, it was CHEWY and they put the ice cream on top of the hot waffle and it melted fast. The scoop of ice cream goes on the side of the waffle always. We ended up paying 5€ each for a waffle and left very disappointed.

As always just avoid restaurants in front of main attractions

Great restaurant. The selection is very good and the quality also exceptionally good. It is a restaurant with Swedish specialties. Finally something different. The prices are reasonable. The staff is friendly, helpful and accommodating. We can highly recommend it.

Definitely recommendable. The location on the market place is great, as there is still a lot to see and do from there. The way to you was worth it ?

delightful ambience and tasty food It was rainy day when we came across this restaurant. It is well located in the centre of Marburg. It has very nice interiors in white and blue colours. Staff is very friendly and happy to help. Service is little slow but when we were served with our order we just enjoyed the food. Food quantity was large enough. Prices are bit higher.

Food was delicious. The location was perfect. The service was a bit slow because they were under staffed the day I ate there.

I've been to the restaurant this week- ordered a veggie burger, waited for literally an hour just to get a regular burger. After another half a hour I finally got the veggie burger that also wasn't so good.. The staff didn't offer any compensation and didn't seem to care much for the time they kept me waiting. I definitely would not recommend you to go there

I only had a beer. The waiter wasn't very friendly, but he wasn't mean.
